Chad Andrew Powell
Owner & Chief Creator
Chad is a North Carolina born, Alabama raised, Colorado conditioned, Texas transplant. His design journey is as diverse as the places it has taken him. He’s a seasoned designer with experience ranging from prepress & print production, to pioneering various mobile and digital applications during his tenure with an international record label, where he worked on several Grammy Award-Winning and Nominated projects. Currently, Chad is designing the strategy and experience around USAA’s mobile telematics and behavior-based insurance programs.
Ashley Powell
CFO & Administrator
Ashley hails from San Antonio, but don’t let her Texas charm and hospitality fool you! She’s a mindful manager, and a facilitator of amazing experiences. Vision – she’s got it, and serves on the board of a non-profit focused on mentorship of at-risk youth in underserved communities. From her time managing in the luxury retail industry, to keeping our books detailed and on track, to gracing the pages of local magazines, she’s the grease behind the gears, and our studio could not function without her. In her spare time Ashley manages our two “interns,” Hindley (4) and Emery (2).

Really, they’re just our kids – and in actuality, they’re probably our primary job! But, man are they cute… and they’re great at keeping us on our toes! Talk about strategy, creative thinking, and human-centered design… these girls keep our eyes fresh, and consistently remind us of the varying perspectives and needs of an end-user. They’re the pinnacle of usability testing, and we value their input, while training them up to become creative thought leaders in their own right (primarily through imaginative play, art projects, and exploration of digital photography)!
